The clearest artwork helps to ensure the sharpest possible stamp.

Funky Stampers are capable of very sharp impressions, but only if the artwork we use is of the highest quality.

We will be pleased to re-draw your designs wherever possible, but for the best turnaround times, please bear the following in mind:

  • J-peg files usually produce the worst images to work from. Their small size is obtained by losing a lot of the image information. Avoid them whenever possible.
  • Supply images at 600dpi (dots per inch) where possible.
  • Tif and eps/ai/pdf files(with all fonts converted to outline) tend to work best.
  • We can work from most Apple Mac formats and Microsoft Word or export your image from your drawing program as a 600dpi Tif file.

Failing that, send us what you've got we would be happy to work on getting the very best from your design!

Please Contact us for any questions or queries you may have, we would be more than happy to help you out!

Which file formats can you work with?

Most PC/Mac formats including Photoshop, Freehand, Illustrator CS or lower.

Windows: Word, Publisher, Photoshop. If you use an editing package such as CorelDraw, save your artwork as EPS or TIFF before sending it.

If you're using a postscript-based package (Freehand/Illustrator), convert your fonts to outlines before sending.

What's the best way to send artwork?

EPS, BMP or 600dpi TIFF files tend to work best, or send us a Word file or a PDF at the correct size. Jpeg files tend to work less well.

Will you design it for me?

Yes of course. Just give us as detailed a description as you can and we will do the work for you. For free.

Can I use clip art?

Whatever you want - we can use. Check that it looks OK in greyscale.

We have a large range of PC typefaces to cover most requirements. 'Arial' or similar is recommended for clarity, especially at smaller sizes. Ornate typefaces tend to reproduce less well at smaller sizes.

Unless you state otherwise, we will prepare your proof using 'Arial' as the main typeface.
